Truong Van Vinh
Dr. Truong Van Vinh is a seasoned environmental scientist and academic with a strong focus on forestry, ecology, and climate change. Currently serving as Vice Dean of the Faculty of Forestry at Nong Lam University in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, Vinh brings extensive expertise to his role. He earned his PhD in Earth Science from the University of New Caledonia. His research interests primarily revolve around carbon sequestration, mangrove ecosystems, and the impacts of climate change on forest ecosystems. Dr. Vinh has been actively involved in numerous research projects, both domestically and internationally. In particular, he develops mangrove and forest carbon projects in Vietnam and consults on related policies. He also delivers training programs on forest conservation, biodiversity, and carbon trading to a diverse range of stakeholders, including government officials and forest-dependent communities.
